flexible nanny wanted
For a warm and appreciative family based in Munich-Grünwald, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated live-in nanny with a separate apartment who is seeking a long-term position and would enjoy becoming a valued part of the family.
The family has a three-year-old son and is planning to welcome another child in the near future. We are therefore looking for someone with extensive experience caring for babies and toddlers who can confidently and lovingly support children through different stages of development. The children will be raised bilingually in English and German, so fluent English is essential.
Your Responsibilities
- Loving and age-appropriate care of the three-year-old son and, later, the second child
- Additional overnight care of the baby once a week from birth, supporting and relieving the parents
- Creating a nurturing, safe and structured daily routine
- Speaking English with the children throughout the day
- Supporting with child-related and light general household tasks such as shopping, tidying, ironing, cooking and organisational duties
- Accompanying the family on domestic and international travel
- Caring for the children in the evenings when the parents are away
A housekeeper working approximately 30 hours per week will also be employed, so the main focus of this position is clearly childcare, with only light household support required.
Working Hours
The family is looking for someone flexible. During periods in Munich, regular core working hours can be agreed together. The position generally involves a 5‑day working week, including one to two weekends per month. Days off will then be taken flexibly during the week. As the family travels regularly, a willingness to travel with the family and adapt to a flexible schedule is particularly important.
Your Profile
- Several years of proven nanny experience in private households
- Extensive experience with babies and toddlers
- Fluent English or native-level English
- EU passport
- Experience in a high-end private household, with references
- Ideally, a pedagogical or childcare qualification
- Driving licence
- Willingness to travel and flexible availability
Candidates with experience as a Night Nurse and/or Travelling Nanny are particularly welcome, as these skills are highly valuable for the family’s lifestyle.
