1795 Munich: Nanny wanted for an 11 month old baby, to start immediately

For an inter­na­tional family based in central Munich, we are looking for an expe­ri­enced and dedi­cated live-out nanny with excel­lent English skills or english native speaker who is seeking a long-term position and would enjoy beco­ming a valued part of the family. The family has an 11-month-old son. We are ther­e­fore looking for someone with exten­sive expe­ri­ence caring for babies and todd­lers who can confi­dently and lovingly support a child through the diffe­rent stages of deve­lo­p­ment. The mother is German and the father is Indian; English is spoken at home.

Your Respon­si­bi­li­ties

• Loving, age-appro­priate care of the 11-month-old son
• Crea­ting a safe, struc­tured and stimu­la­ting daily routine
• Commu­ni­ca­ting with and caring for the child in English
• Supporting with child-related and light house­hold tasks such as shop­ping, tidying, ironing, cooking and orga­ni­sa­tional duties
• Accom­panying the family on dome­stic and inter­na­tional travel
• Caring for the child in the evenings and occa­sio­nally at weekends

Working Hours

The family is looking for someone flexible. While the family is in Munich, regular core working hours can be agreed toge­ther, gene­rally from 7:30–10:30 am and 1:00–5:00 pm. The position is based on a 5‑day working week, with occa­sional weekend work and travel required.

As the family travels regu­larly, a willing­ness to accom­pany them and adapt flexibly to their sche­dule is parti­cu­larly important. The family spends one month in India in November and one month in January. During these periods, unpaid leave will be taken.

Your Quali­fi­ca­tions

• Several years of proven expe­ri­ence as a private house­hold nanny
• Exten­sive expe­ri­ence caring for babies and toddlers
• Fluent or native-level English
• EU pass­port
• Expe­ri­ence in a high-end private house­hold, with excel­lent references
• A pedago­gical quali­fi­ca­tion would be an advantage
• Driving licence
• non smoker
• Willing­ness to travel and flexi­bi­lity regar­ding working hours
