family ties
We are a warm and nature-loving hotelier family looking for a young, active and sporty nanny for our two boys from mid-September. We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of our active, international family life. Our home is nestled in the mountains and combines nature, outdoor activities and hospitality.
This position is for a nanny looking for more than a traditional childcare role: being close to the family, taking responsibility and enjoying variety are at the heart of this position.
German is the main language spoken at home. Mum speaks French and English, while Dad speaks German and English. The nanny should speak German with the children and have good English skills.
The role is essentially that of a “big sister”: someone who genuinely enjoys playing with the boys while also providing gentle, consistent structure. We are looking for a hands-on, sporty and outdoorsy person who loves snow, fresh mountain air and flexible daily routines.
Most importantly, we are looking for a nanny who works with warmth, reliability and enthusiasm and is happy to take responsibility.
Your Responsibilities
- Loving care of both boys, aged 3 and 5
- Age-appropriate educational support and encouragemen
- Spending plenty of time outdoors, going for walks and enjoying naturActively supporting a structured yet flexible family routine
Working Hours & Organisation
- 5‑day working week, with time off in lieu for weekend work by arrangement
- Flexible working hours, particularly depending on the season
- core working hours approximately 12:00–19:30
What We Are Looking For
- Previous nanny experience; career changers are welcome
- Flexibility, resilience and initiative
- Sporty, outdoorsy and enthusiastic about mountains and snow
- Fluent English
- A positive and life-affirming attitude
- A valid driving licence and confident driving skills are essential
We offer a long-term position in a varied and appreciative environment, 14 monthly salaries, as well as your own separate apartment with full board and accommodation provided free of charge.
