We are looking for a warm, caring and dedi­cated full-time nanny for a young, active and welco­ming family who would love to find someone inte­rested in a long-term position, supporting the daily life and deve­lo­p­ment of their little boy with warmth and sensitivity.

The family divides its time between Kitz­bühel, Austria, and Munich, Germany, so a willing­ness to work at both loca­tions is essen­tial. Sepa­rate accom­mo­da­tion is provided for the nanny at both homes.

Your main respon­si­bi­lity will be provi­ding loving, safe and age-appro­priate care for the little boy. You will enjoy supporting his deve­lo­p­ment, playing with him, looking at books toge­ther, enga­ging in crea­tive acti­vi­ties and explo­ring nature. You will encou­rage his inde­pen­dence and confi­dence while crea­ting an active, varied and nurtu­ring daily routine.

You will also take care of all child-related tasks, inclu­ding orga­ni­sing his daily routine, prepa­ring simple meals, looking after his laundry and keeping his play and living areas tidy. Occa­sional errands or shop­ping for the family may also be required. However, child­care will clearly remain the main focus of the role.

Working Sche­dule

The position involves appro­xi­m­ately 40–45 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday, from around 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occa­sional evening and over­night care, as well as appro­xi­m­ately 10–15 weekends per year, will also be required. These will be planned well in advance, with appro­priate time off in lieu. Accom­panying the family on appro­xi­m­ately one or two trips per year is also part of the role.

For this family, perso­na­lity and a good personal connec­tion matter more than a perfect CV. They are looking for a warm-hearted, empa­thetic and atten­tive nanny who genui­nely enjoys working with young children and contri­butes to family life with initia­tive and commitment.

You should be able to work inde­pendently, stay well orga­nised, and be reliable and tidy. At the same time, you will have the sensi­ti­vity to respect the family’s privacy, follow the parents’ decis­ions and reco­g­nise when initia­tive is welcome and when discre­tion is more appro­priate. Discre­tion, honesty and open, respectful commu­ni­ca­tion are essential.

• Valid driving licence and confi­dent driving skills

German language skills and a child­care quali­fi­ca­tion or similar back­ground are welcome but not essen­tial. What matters most is a loving approach to children, sound judge­ment and mutual trust.
