We are a family of five living in Munich-Schwa­bing with our three children, aged 11, 9 and 7 (two boys and one girl). As both parents work full-time, we are looking for an expe­ri­enced, warm-hearted and proac­tive nanny who would like to become a long-term part of our family life.

Working Hours

• Appro­xi­m­ately 25–32 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, appro­xi­m­ately 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm
• Ideally, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 7:45 am to take two of the children to school (preferred but not essential)
• One evening per week, inclu­ding bedtime, usually until around 10:00 pm
• One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) per month, typi­cally an after­noon and evening inclu­ding bedtime, or alter­na­tively supporting the family at our holiday home by the lake outside Munich from Saturday to Sunday
• Every eight weeks, sole respon­si­bi­lity for the children over one weekend. Compen­sa­tory time off will be provided at the begin­ning of the follo­wing week.

We appre­ciate a certain degree of flexi­bi­lity and occa­sional addi­tional support when needed, while ensu­ring that working hours remain reliable and well planned.

Your Respon­si­bi­li­ties

• Child­care
• Collect the children from school and after-school activities
• Accom­pany them to sports, music lessons, play­dates and appointments
• Plan crea­tive, age-appro­priate after­noons and activities
• Play games, read, do arts and crafts and enjoy acti­vi­ties together
• Support with home­work, revi­sion and studying, parti­cu­larly at primary school level (from Year 2 onwards) and the begin­ning of secon­dary school (Gymna­sium)
• Help prepare for school tests and review lear­ning materials
• Prepare simple meals or serve meals already prepared for the children
• Super­vise the evening routine and bedtime
• Family Orga­ni­sa­tion

In addi­tion to child­care, we are looking for someone who enjoys helping to orga­nise family life, including:

• Plan­ning and coor­di­na­ting the child­ren’s appoint­ments and activities
• Orga­ni­sing play­dates, trans­port and leisure activities
• Running small errands for the children and the family
• Coll­ec­ting and drop­ping off parcels
• Shop­ping for school, sports and leisure-related items
  Household

We already employ a full-time house­keeper who is respon­sible for clea­ning, laundry, cooking and the general orga­ni­sa­tion of the house­hold and who can also babysit if required. Ther­e­fore, this position does not include tradi­tional house­kee­ping duties. However, we value close, friendly and uncom­pli­cated team­work within the household.

Requi­re­ments

The follo­wing are essential:

• Proven expe­ri­ence caring for school-aged children
• Enjoy working with three children of diffe­rent ages
• A warm, confi­dent and reliable approach
• Ability to work inde­pendently with excel­lent orga­ni­sa­tional skills
• Fluent German language skills
• A valid driver’s licence and confi­dent driving expe­ri­ence using the family car

For a warm and lively family in the Munich area, we are looking for an expe­ri­enced, reliable, and caring nanny to join the family as soon as possible, at the latest by the end of August. The ideal candi­date will enjoy supporting the family’s daily life and would like to become a valued long-term part of the family.

The family has four children aged 11, 9, 3, and 2 years old. Both parents are working profes­sio­nals. The mother will start a new position in mid-September and will regu­larly travel for work. The family is already supported by an au pair and a “Leihoma” (a trusted grand­mo­ther figure) every Wednesday. They are now looking for a nanny to comple­ment this support team and lovingly take care of the after­noons and evenings.

Working hours
You will work four after­noons per week, usually from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm, and Wednes­days from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm (appro­xi­m­ately 20 hours per week). The exact week­days can be discussed and agreed upon together.

Your respon­si­bi­li­ties
Your respon­si­bi­li­ties include supporting the two older children with their home­work and school-related matters. Toge­ther with the children, you will help prepare ever­y­thing needed for the follo­wing school day.

You will also prepare dinner for the family and lovingly care for the two younger children, accom­panying them through their evening routine. In addi­tion, you will support the family with the orga­ni­sa­tion of ever­yday family life and contri­bute to a struc­tured and harmo­nious daily routine.

A friendly Labrador is also part of the family; however, the dog is mainly cared for by the mother and the au pair.

What we are looking for
You have expe­ri­ence in child­care and interact with children with warmth, pati­ence, and natural autho­rity. You remain calm and orga­nised even in a lively family envi­ron­ment. A valid driver’s licence with confi­dent driving expe­ri­ence is required; having your own car is desirable.
