Stuttgart: Nanny wanted
For a warm and welcoming family in Stuttgart, we are looking for an experienced, reliable, and caring nanny starting in May who will take on the care of an infant with great love, a strong sense of responsibility, and genuine enjoyment.
The mother is a doctor and would like to return to her profession soon after giving birth. Especially on her practice and surgery days, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, it is therefore particularly important that she knows her baby is in the best hands and can fully concentrate on her professional responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who not only has excellent professional qualifications but also fits in well with the family on a personal level. Trust, loyalty, absolute discretion, and a long-term working relationship are the top priorities.
Your Responsibilities
- Loving, age-appropriate, and responsible care of the infant
- Creating a secure and nurturing daily routine, with plenty of attention to the child’s needs and development
- Going for walks with the baby and accompanying the family on short outings
- Occasionally looking after the dogs living in the household and taking one dog (7 kg) along on walks, provided the situation with the baby allows it
- Flexible travel assistance for the mother on work-related trips, by prior arrangement
- Working closely and trustfully with the parents and the housekeeper employed in the household
Your Working Hours
The position involves approximately 30–40 hours per week, depending on the specific agreement.
Monday: From 12:00 p.m. until approximately 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Tuesday to Wednesday: Overnight stay in your own room with a private bathroom.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Care on Tuesdays and Wednesdays is particularly important, as the mother holds her consultations on these days. Additional working hours and any travel assistance will be arranged individually.
Days off from Thursday to Sunday may be possible, depending on the agreed weekly working hours and the arrangements made.
What You Bring to the Role
- Experience in caring for infants with love and attention, ideally including newborns
- A high level of responsibility, reliability, and empathy
- Absolute discretion, loyalty, and a strong understanding of a family’s need for privacy
- An independent, proactive, and well-organized approach to work
- Flexibility and enjoyment of accompanying the family on trips when needed
- A valid driver’s license
