For a lovely entrepreneur family in Marl, North Rhine-Westphalia, we are looking for a warm, responsible and reliable Family Manager / Live-in Nanny to support the family in their daily life on a long-term basis.
The household includes two school-aged children, aged 7 and 14, as well as three dogs. We are looking for an experienced and dependable person who enjoys caring for school-aged children while also being happy to take responsibility for the practical and organisational aspects of family life.
Your Responsibilities
- Childcare
- Loving care and support of the two children
- Assistance with homework
- Driving the children to and from school, sports, classes and other activities
- Accompanying and supporting the children throughout their daily routines
- Family Household & Organisation
- Preparing and cooking healthy meals for the family
- Supporting with general household tasks, particularly while the children are at school
- Organising and structuring various aspects of family life
- Taking care of practical tasks that arise in the course of everyday family life
While the children are at school, the focus will be on organisational and practical tasks. Once the children are at home, their care and companionship will take priority.
Your Profile
You are a warm, easy-going and dependable person who enjoys working independently and has a good understanding of the needs of children and families.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience caring for school-aged and older children
- Enjoyment of cooking and practical household tasks
- A valid driving licence – essential
- Good German and/or English language skills
- Confidence and ease when handling dogs
- Strong organisational skills, initiative and a sense of responsibility
- A warm, open and reliable personality
- A genuine interest in a long-term position
Age is not an important factor for the family – personality, experience and reliability are what matter most.
The position is available to start as soon as possible and is offered on a live-in basis. The family provides a separate private apartment located directly next to the main house, with its own kitchen and bathroom. A valid driving licence and good driving skills are essential. A car will be provided by the family.
The family is looking for long-term, reliable support from someone who would enjoy becoming a trusted part of their family life. A responsible approach to the children, initiative and a willingness to take responsibility for both childcare and the practical aspects of everyday family life are particularly important.
