Nanny for 30 Hours Wanted
For an upscale private household in Essen-Bredeney, we are seeking a loving and reliable nanny to provide long-term support to the family. The position comprises approximately 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm (live-out). Weekends by arrangement.
The family has two children aged 1.5 and 6 years. In the afternoons, the main focus is on the older son, who returns home from school. You will supervise his homework and provide attentive care. The younger sister is cared for by a childminder until 12:00 pm and is picked up by her mother. Afternoons are then spent planning engaging and fun activities together with the children in coordination with the mother.
The mother is self-employed and works outside the home particularly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; otherwise, she works from her home office. The father is employed full-time and works outside the home. A driver’s license and confident driving skills are required.
An English-speaking housekeeper is responsible for all household duties, allowing you to focus entirely on childcare and the children’s educational development and support. The family appreciates occasional weekend assistance and a degree of flexibility in daily routines.
During school holidays (approximately 12 weeks per year), the family mainly resides in Mallorca; occasional travel accompaniment is welcome. In the long term, there is the possibility of expanding the role to a full-time position by additionally caring for a neighboring child who is a family friend.
