1762 Luxembourg: Maternity nurse wanted from August for 6 months

We are looking for a dedi­cated mate­r­nity nurse to work for six months with a loving family with three-year-old twins in beau­tiful Luxem­bourg. The family’s third child is due in August, and for the post­natal period the parents are seeking a caring profes­sional to support them in looking after both the newborn and the mother. The mother wishes to return to work in December.
The role involves 24/6 care to ensure the family has as smooth and supportive a start as possible to this new chapter in their lives.
Your duties will include provi­ding compre­hen­sive care for the newborn, chan­ging nappies, prepa­ring and feeding bottles, and general care – as well as offe­ring loving support to the mother during her reco­very period. During the day, you will take the baby for walks; running small errands for mother and child, as well as provi­ding orga­ni­sa­tional help with daily tasks, are also part of the role. You will be respon­sible for looking after the baby’s laundry and keeping the nursery tidy, whilst adhe­ring to hygiene stan­dards. You will be respon­sible for looking after the baby at night and, by arran­ge­ment, will sleep in the baby’s room. The mate­r­nity nurse will have their own room with a sepa­rate bath­room for rest periods.
We are looking for a respon­sible, warm-hearted indi­vi­dual with solid expe­ri­ence in newborn care and excel­lent refe­rences from private house­holds. A keen under­stan­ding of the family’s needs, discre­tion, and a struc­tured and caring approach to work are parti­cu­larly important to the family.
