a job as a nanny
in Berlin

“Dear Parents,

I am 34 years old and have been a state-certified early childhood educator since September 2025. I would like to transition into working as a nanny, as I have increasingly noticed in everyday educational settings how difficult it is for professionals—due to large group sizes—to respond to each child’s individual needs.

Throughout my career, it has become clear that my strengths lie in experiential education. I enjoy being outdoors, spending time in nature, going on long walks, and discovering new places in Berlin. I am also happy to climb trees or build a little den in the middle of the forest.

In addition, I have access to a private garden near the former Tegel Airport. Many activities are possible there: your child/children can burn off energy, learn about plants, discover animals, observe vegetables from planting to harvest, and even help with gardening if they wish.

I am passionate about supporting children in becoming independent and self-confident young individuals. In my view, it is essential for children to recognize and express their strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes, make their own decisions, and also learn how to cope with setbacks. They should understand that everyone has strengths and weaknesses, and that this is what makes each person unique and valuable to society.

It is always important that children are able to gain their own experiences, because this is how they learn, grow stronger, and develop confidence.

If you choose to hire me as your nanny, it would be very important to me to introduce your child/children to the element of water. Almost every child is fascinated by water. While it is great fun, it can also be dangerous. Sadly, far too many children and adults still drown due to insufficient swimming skills or unrealistic self-assessment. Depending on the child’s age and abilities, there is also the possibility of working towards the German “Seepferdchen” swimming certificate.

If I have sparked your interest, I would be very happy to meet you soon.”
